Dhaka Bank Limited has won the first prize for Best Published Annual Report by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). M. Saifur Rahman, FCA, Minister of Finance and Planning, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh handed over the prize to Md. Mokhlesur Rahman, Managing Director of Dhaka Bank Limited at a function organized by ICAB at Hotel Sonargaon on November 14, 2002. A. K. M. Mosharraf Hossain, FCA, State Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources, professionals and dignitaries from financial and commercial organizations attended the program.

ICAB National Award is given each year for best published reports among the listed financial and non financial companies. The selection is made through a meticulous assessment process by following the Evaluation Criteria set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh and South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA).

The winners of the national award are forwarded by ICAB to South Asian Federation of Accountants for participation in the South Asia Regional Competition.

ICAB congratulated the Board of Directors, Shareholders, Investors, and Employees of Dhaka Bank Limited for this distinguished achievement.
