Shahed Noman joined Dhaka Bank Limited as Additional Managing Director.

Prior to joining Dhaka Bank Limited, Shahed Noman was a Financial Consultant with Merrill Lynch International Inc. based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Shahed Noman started his career as Trainee Officer with Grindlays Bank Limited, Dhaka in 1975. He served in ANZ Grindlays Group for 24 years in different senior positions that include the Country Credit Executive, Bangladesh; Area Manager, Chittagong; Chief Manager, Credit and Marketing, Dhaka; Country Operations Manager, Bangladesh; and Area Operations Manager, Chittagong. He also served as Head of Corporate Banking in Nepal Grindlays Bank Limited, Kathmandu.

Shahed Noman graduated in Commerce from University of Dhaka and obtained his MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka in 1974. He is a member of British Institute of Management, attended senior management and credit workshops and seminars at home and abroad. He is also the General Securities Registered Representative for NYSE and NASDAQ.

Currently he is holding the charge of the Bank as the Acting Managing Director.
